Black Robin Equity Limited (Black Robin) presents its latest equity profit share opportunity in McKenzies Shute Limited (McKenzies Shute).

McKenzies Shute is developing three Alpine Villas, in Jacks Point, Queenstown (the Development).

McKenzies Shute is seeking to raise a minimum of $2,000,000 in Class A Share capital, up to a maximum of $5,000,000.

The Development is underway:

  • Resource Consent and Building Consent have been issued;
  • A pre-sale contract to a related party for Lot 2 has been signed, at market valuation (Bayleys valuation dated 03 May 2022);
  • Received construction materials sufficient to enclose the villas;
  • A construction contract has been agreed to with Hector Egger Construction Services Limited.
  • The target date for slabs to be laid is July 2022.

 How the offer works:

Investors have the opportunity to invest directly into McKenzies Shute via Class A Shares. Investors are intended to be paid:

  • 9.95%p.a. (less DWT) as a quarterly preferential dividend (subject to compliance with the Companies Act 1993);
  • After completion of the Development, McKenzies Shute expected to repurchase the Class A Shares at the same price for which they were initially sold.
  • A special dividend representing a percentage of the potential development profit to be paid on completion of the Development;

The estimated term of this investment is approximately 12 months.

Black Robin holds B Class Shares, which do not receive any quarterly or special dividends while Class A shares are on issue. Amounts due to the Class A Shares will be paid in priority to any returns and dividends paid to holders of Class B Shares.

Minimum investment is $50,000. Investors may invest more in $10,000 increments, or such other amount at the sole discretion of the directors.
