The Safe Store Property Fund Ltd presents wholesale investors with an opportunity to participate in New Zealand's expanding self-storage sector through a structured Portfolio Investment Entity (PIE) fund. The Fund will hold an ownership stake in two strategically located Self Storage facilities, aiming to deliver a blend of both income and capital growth. With an initial target raise of $3,450,000, minimum investment is NZD100,000.00.

The fund will hold an initial 20% share in Safe Store Investment Properties LP, which owns the two strategically located facilities in Auckland: Safe Store Westgate and Safe Store Papatoetoe. The Westgate site, opened in 2016, spans 11,436 square meters with 911 units, including outdoor parking, and benefits from proximity to major retail developments like New Zealand's first Costco. This location serves a rapidly growing residential and commercial area in West Auckland. The Papatoetoe facility, established in 1994 and expanded in 2021, offers 11,293 square meters across 934 units, conveniently situated near Auckland Airport and key motorways for easy access by businesses, residents, and travellers. Both sites feature modern designs emphasising security, accessibility, and customer convenience, such as alarmed units, fire protection, and drive-up options.

The fund's growth strategy is supported by the sector's robust demand, driven by urban densification, population growth, and lifestyle changes. According to the Self Storage Association of Australasia's 2024 report, self-storage usage in New Zealand has risen to 9.5%, with over 350,000 households utilising paid storage - up from 8.1% in 2022.
